Problem:
We are using an MIT zoom account for a meeting that will take place without her being in the meeting and without her delegate on the Zoom call. The outside person running the meeting would like to record it but this does not seem to be an option for him (this person can't be made a scheduler on the account because he is not at MIT).
Answer:
I learned that someone outside MIT cannot be a co-host or scheduler (this is what MIT AA's do as delegates for those they support) on the MIT Zoom system so the only way to record a meeting "without" the MIT host (or scheduler) being online to start it is to set it to "automatically record to the Cloud." Only MIT users (those with mit.edu accounts) could record to their local computer. After the meeting, the MIT host/scheduler receives an email link to the cloud recording and THEN the MIT host has to download the recording and share it another way with the external MIT people (eg: share via dropbox).
Other information:
For Zoom Pro (1st tier paid): It says I have 1GB of MP4 or M4A cloud recording. And it looks like 1GB = about 10 hours of recording (MP4).
Not sure what MIT's Zoom Enterprise provides for cloud recording.
