- If you are looking for someone with technical or creative skills, I would suggest writing up the scope of work and emailing Minerva Tirado at MIT Contracts: minerva@mit.edu. All of these types of contracts go through her (and her team) and she sometimes has good recommendations.
- If the contract is going to be over $10k for the year then you will need to show at least two bids (MIT prefers 3) and have a reason why you are choosing the one you want (if the price is the lowest that would be the reason, if pricing is not lowest - then there should be another reason)
- Contact someone on the finance team (Anna, Beth Ann, Carlos) to help you set this vendor up in the system and get the contract/PO completed at MIT (we will take care of all of the paperwork from here)
** Please note that you can always bring a finance person onboard from the start and we would be happy to help you through the MIT contracts process.
