Configure Send-As (From:) for a google-group/listserv for use in Gmail when composing a new message
Configuring Send-As permission in Gmail; sending messages (From:) the Google Group email address.
To send an email as the Google Group email address in a collaborative inbox:
- Ensure Permissions: Confirm you have permission to send emails as the group. As an owner, you usually have this permission.
- Add the Group as a "Send As" Address in Gmail:
Open Gmail, go to Settings > See all settings.
Click the ‘ Add another email address ‘ link
Click Add another email address, Uncheck ‘Treat as an alias’ enter the group email, and follow the prompts to verify.
Go to the Collaborative Group Inbox via https://groups.google.com and click the verification link
